  18. To view Readme.txt on screen in Notepad, maximize the Notepad window.

  20. To print Readme.txt, open it in Notepad or another word processor, and

  37. To run Vypress Messenger 2.8, your system must meet the following 
  38. minimum requirements:

  40. - A 486 with a 66 MHz processor (Pentium processor recommended)
  41. - For Microsoft Windows 95:
  42.   8 MB of RAM minimum
  43.   For Microsoft Windows NT:
  44.   16 MB of RAM minimum
  45. - For Microsoft Windows NT: 
  46.   It is recommended to run Service Pack 3 (or higher)
  47. - 500 KB to 2,5 MB of hard-disk space (depending on installation type) 
  48. - High Color Video Mode
  49. - Mouse
  50. - Modem for Internet Connections or Network Card for LAN

  53. SETUP

  56. - CAUTION: Vypress Messenger 2.8 requires propery installed TCP/IP
  57.   connection. For use Vypress Messenger 2.8 in Local Area Network
  58.   you need install to TCP/IP Protocol first. To install TCP/IP Protocol
  59.   use "Control Panel" -> "Network" -> Add -> Protocol -> Microsoft TCP/IP.
  60.   If you are not connected to Internet and don't use DHCP you may use
  61.   TCP/IP address reserved for intranet network (10.10.*.*).
  62.   If you use dial-up networking you need to connect to Internet BEFORE
  63.   trying to send messages.

  66. Uninstalling Vypress Messenger 2.8
  67. ----------------------------------
  68. You can uninstall Vypress Messenger 2.8 by carrying out the 
  69. following steps:

  71. 1. In Control Panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  72. 2. Click Vypress Messenger, and then click Add/Remove.
  73. 3. Follow the instructions on your screen.

  75. KNOWN ISSUES

  78. Fonts in Vypress Messenger 2.8 displayed incorrectly
  79. ----------------------------------------------------
  80. Sometimes after installation of some programs (for example, 
  81. Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or Microsoft Visual Studio 97) 
  82. fonts in Vypress Messenger dialog may be shown incorrectly 
  83. (bolder and bigger). This problem is caused by overwriting
  84. of the Verdana font. For restoring the font it is recommended to delete 
  85. the Verdana font from "Control Panel" and reinstall Vypress Messenger 2.8
